FlightSimWeekend is proud to announce that the 2026 edition of the world’s premier flight simulation event has officially broken all previous attendance and exhibitor records. The 2026 event welcomed nearly 5,000 visitors, solidifying its position as a cornerstone of the global flight simulation calendar.
To accommodate the unprecedented demand, the event floor was expanded by 400 square meters, hosting over 60 exhibitors from across the globe. This year also marked a historic first with Microsoft attending as an official exhibitor, showcasing the future of the platform directly to the community.
Expanded Footprint and Global Reach
“The growth we’ve witnessed this year is a testament to the passion and creativity of this community,” said Jannes van Gestel on behalf of the organisation. “From the debut of cutting-edge hardware to the surprise aircraft reveals on the FSElite Stage, FlightSimWeekend 2026 has set a new benchmark for what a simulation expo can be.”
Highlights of the weekend included the introduction of a new “After Dark Party” and the presentation of the second annual Flight Sim Awards at the annual “Captain’s Dinner”, celebrating the best in software and hardware innovation from the past year.
